Numsa: Lift Vavi suspension or we go to court Buffer Mode 2008

newswall.co.za - Sunday 1st September, 2013 on City Press The National Union of Metalworkers has given Cosatu leadership until the end of business today to lift the suspension of federation general secretary Zwelinzima Vavi, or face legal action. Vavi was suspended for bring the federation into disrepute after he admitted to having sex with a junior employee at Cosatu, and is due to face disciplinary action. Numsa secretary general Irvin Jim said the union had written to the federation asking them to also “undo” the meeting that took the decision on Vavi as they thought it was not procedural.
